Lucas's instructor had long wavy, unkempt white hair extending to the small of his back with bangs that fell over his white eyes. In Lucas's flashback, he is seen wearing a white magician's coat complete with a black top underneath.

Not much is known about Lucas’ instructor but he did take Lucas in and raised him as his own. He had a wife and child at one point though after their passing he became overcome with grief and refused to eat, he tells Lucas it would be better if he never finds out what it’s like to lose a loved one and one day he’ll die alone.

Not much is known about their relation, but it can be presumed that their bond is more than a master-student relationship. Though his instructor pities Lucas, it is seen that Lucas cares for his teacher as when his instructor was overwhelmed with the grief of losing his loved ones, he refused to eat anything. Lucas offers him a piece of bread and asks him what is the point of abandoning his works just because he lost someone or if death is something to be sad about. Then Lucas's instructor wishes that Lucas may not face the same fate as him because he cares for Lucas as well.
