Summary[]
In the ritual room, Lucas explains the task Athanasia will have to fulfil. Grabbing Claude's hand, Athanasia repeats her name as she falls senselessly away with Lucas’ words. Athanasia floats helplessly through the world, overcome with the noise and emotions of everything to exist at that moment. She sees Ijekiel with her letter, Felix awaiting her return, and Jennette praying for her safety. A man wearing modern clothing asks for her name as the hangman reads it out. Athanasia speaks her name as a hand reaches out, grabbing her arm. Propelled forward, Athanasia is enveloped in white light. Blonde hair flutters beside her as soft hands loosely grip her wrists. Lucas observes a fragment of something swirling above Claude, finally realizing how the emperor was able to endure such a horrific curse.
