Summary[]
Believing that Diana’s death was the reason Claude chose to meddle with black magic, Athanasia begins to shed tears for her father’s suffering. Lucas attempts to comfort her and accidentally lets slip that Claude is dying. Intent on finding a cure for her father, Athanasia scans her memory and suddenly recalls feeling static prior to the mana explosion. Meanwhile at the Alpheus household, Jennette hides in her chambers in embarrassment, realizing that she foolishly assumed she will become Ijekiel’s wife and has been presumptuously acting as his fiancée. Unable to sleep, she decides to take a walk around the estate and coincidentally spots Anastacius outside of the mansion. As they promise to keep each other’s nightly excursions a secret, Anastacius notices an ominous cloud of dark mana flowing out of Jennette.
