Summary[]
Apprehensive about confronting her father once again, Athanasia sneaks into the Imperial Palace. She encounters Felix, who assures her that Claude no longer bears any ill will towards her. Still uneasy, Athanasia agrees to meet with Claude. During their tense reunion, she notices his emaciated condition as he peppers her with questions about her whereabouts outside of the palace. As Claude's headache resurfaces, he dismisses Athanasia and orders Felix to arrange another audience with Jennette.
