Summary[]
Athanasia learns from the maids that her ruthless father slaughtered everyone in the Ruby Palace after her mother, Diana, died during childbirth. Determined to not share the same tragic fate as the princess from The Lovely Princess, Athanasia plots to gather riches and flee the palace before her father, the emperor, decides to kill her.
