The Empress is a minor character in Who Made Me a Princess, she was the official wife of the late Emperor of Obelia, the mother of Anastacius, and the legal step-mother of Claude.
Appearance
She had black hair, curled and adorned with lavish pearls and she wore a regal patterned gown befitting an empress. Despite being Anastacius’ mother, she bared little resemblance to him.

Anastacius de Alger Obelia
Threatened by the arrival of her husband’s mistress and son, the Empress placed immense pressure on Anastacius from a young age to inherit the throne. To secure her position, the Empress implored her son tearfully that if he loved his mother then he would become emperor no matter what.
Claude de Alger Obelia
It was heavily implied she used to be physically abusive towards Claude, as seen when Claude went searching for his brother while covered in bruises. Anastacius deduces his mother must have taken her anger out on Claude again.[1]
