Claude’s mother is a supporting character in Who Made Me a Princess, and a commoner who became a concubine for the late Emperor of the Obelian Empire.
Appearance[]
Claude’s mother is depicted as a small, frail woman with shriveled skin and ash blonde hair. Her soft bangs, akin to her son’s, fell gently over her hallowed brown eyes.[1] In her limited appearances throughout the series, Claude's mother is seen bedridden, wearing a white nightgown.
Timeline[]
During Claude’s childhood, she was bedridden due to her poor health. Unable to do anything about the Anastacius' hatred towards her son, she helplessly apologizes to him for her fragile state.[1] Years later, Anastacius visited her while she laid dying in her bed. As he stood over her death bed, she requested in her final moments for Anastacius to not resent his younger brother.[2]

Claude de Alger Obelia[]
From their few interactions, Claude is seen to care deeply for his mother as he would sit by her bed while she was unwell. She appears to be a loving mother, feeling helpless and apologetic over his mistreatment in the palace.
Anastacius de Alger Obelia[]
Though not much is known about their relationship, Claude’s mother asked Anastacius to not hate his younger brother. It was initially thought that he murdered her, but it is later revealed that he passed up the opportunity to kill her.[2]
